There are many different types of cancers and some are unforeseen and entirely unpreventable. However, this is not the case with all types of cancer. Actually, some types are totally preventable as they typically are caused by environmental factors. One of these is throat cancer which results from excessive drinking of alcohol or the use of tobacco products.

One throat cancer symptom that is experienced is a change in your voice. For example, if you are afflicted with throat cancer, you might start speaking all the time with a hoarse voice that also sounds raspy. Often this is the symptom that propels people to seek medical assistance.

Lumps

Another common symptom of throat cancer is the formation of a lump in the neck. If a lump appears, have it immediately checked out by a physician.
